Teacher’s thinking style of teaching has an important influence on the teacher’s teaching behavior. First of all, it plays an important role in the sub-process of teaching such as preparation, lectures; secondly, the teacher’s thinking style of teaching also has certain influence on the teaching innovation which affects the creativity of students directly. This paper tried to answer the following questions:(1) what is the basic structure of the thinking style of teaching of the junior high school teachers from western Liaoning area?(2) what is the basic structure of creative teaching behavior of junior high school teachers in western Liaoning Province?(3) how did the thinking style of teaching of teachers from the western Liaoning province affect their creative teaching behavior?(4) what are the factors that influence teachers’ teaching thinking style in western Liaoning? This project used the literature method, questionnaire method and statistical analysis method, and a valid sample with simple size is 163 participated this investigation. The results indicated that:(1) The teacher’s thinking style of teaching had four related factors; they are self management function, self management, self management form and self management.(2) The four factors model of the creative teaching behavior was supported by our data including the learning method guidance, motivation, evaluation and encouragement of alternative views.(3) The thinkings style of teaching of the junior middle school teachers in western Liaoning Province is significantly related to their creative teaching behavior.(4) Among several factors, the effect of gender factor on thinking style of teaching is significant. |
