The information society and the knowledge economy times have put forward to the schools' teaching and education a basic task: enhancing the qualities of all the students in an all-round way. Elementary education is the cardinal approach for the people's quality development and improvement and chemistry in middle schools, being one important aspect of elementary education, undertakes the task of enhancing the qualities of the whole nation with its special functions. Of all the qualities, fostering the students' creativity is very important with creative thinking as the core. Therefore, Comrade Jiang Zemin has emphasized in most of his speeches that we must foster the talented persons of creativity.Nowadays, there appear more and more treatises on the creative thinking training, but few of them are expounded in a systematic way and combined with the features of middle schools chemistry. In order to improve the students' qualities and foster the students' creative thinking ability, this treatise explores the relevant problems from both theory and practice. In theory, this treatise, taking the relevant theories of dialectical materialists theory of knowledge ^ creative science > thinking science ^ psychology -. pedagogy as a guide, expounds the concept N the characteristics ^ basic forms of creative thinking and also the importance of the system of creative thinking in fostering the talented persons. In addition, this treatise, which is combined with the features of chemistry in middle schools, discusses the general teaching principles-, approaches and methods of creative thinking; during the process of teaching practice it raises the opration of creative thinking and the "Lead-Probe" teaching style to provide the theoretical and practical reference for fostering the students' creative thinking in the chemistry teaching in middle schools.
