This paper hackles and summarizes researches on thinking style. Based on that, adopting the method of investigation and interview, this paper discusses the relationship of thinking style and the studying achievement. Through analyzing questionnaire datum and trimming content of interview, this research draws some following conclusions:1, Overall characteristic of Senior Two high school students' thinking style is that the students tend to be the legislative, hierarchic, external and liberal styles; not to be the local and conservative styles.2, The scores of legislate style and judicial style have significant positive correlations with every subject score.3, Among the subjects of Chinese, Mathematics, English ,politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry and biological, the students getting high score and the students getting low score have significant difference on thinking style.4, Whether arts students or science students, the students of high total score and the students of low total score have significant difference on thinking style. The arts students who get high total score more tend to be legislate . judicial and global style than the arts students who get low total score, but not to be monarchic style ; the science students who get the high total score more tend to be legislate judicial executive hierarchic and global style than the science students who get the low total score.5, Thinking style can statistically predict studying achievement. The arts students who get high scores in legislate judicial, hierarchic and global style have high total score , the arts students who get high scores in monarchic style have low total score; The science students who get high scores in legislate judicial executive hierarchic and global style have high total score.
