Study On The Functional Development Of Beijing Sport Venues’ Public Service Network

Sport venues are the most important fixed assets in sport industry. They are the important material guarantee for sport development and play the most important role in improving the integrated urban service functions. Since the reform and opening up, the City Hall of Beijing has attached great importance to the construction and development of sport venues. As a result, the quantity and standard of the sport venues have reached an unprecedentedly high level. Meanwhile, sport venues also play an important role in providing sport public service, promoting the economic development of Beijing, optimizing human living environment and promoting the overall healthy development of the society. However, as the development of Beijing sport venues’ service is still in the primary stage, there’ re some problems such as the out-dated management systems, the weak ability of service and the deficiency in resource integration, which make the sport venues fail to meet the diverse and multi-level needs for sport of Beijing citizens. Therefore, how to vitalize the existing resources of sport venues, how to provide high-quality sport public service that meets the demand of Beijing citizens, how to achieve the sustainable development of sport venues and how to amplify the social benefit of sport venues have become urgent issues.Driven by the tide of global information, the sport venues’ public service network emerged as a result of the integration of information technology and public service of sport venues, bringing China’s sport and health industry to a new level with its strong vitality. As an important part of sport information construction, sport venues’ public service network is an important platform for the integration of regional sport venue resources. It has played a very important role in improving sport venues’ utilization, providing sport public service and improving the management efficiency of sport venues.By using research methods of literature, case studies, questionnaires and interviews, this thesis studies on the functional development status and user demand of Beijing sport venues’ public service network.Based on the above, the thesis sums up the experience of sport venues’ public service network in China and overseas, which leads to the diselosure of the existing problems with the functional development of Beijing sport venues’ public service network. By combining with the development trend of modern network information technology, the thesis makes a further exploration on the functional development strategies of Beijing sport venues’ public service network, hoping to offer valuable references to the enhancement of sport and fitness public service of Beijing sport venues.
