Nowadays, due to the increasing of the educational method, all kinds of advanced communication technology, network tools impact on traditional teacher-student relationship. With the increasing modes of the communications, the traditional face to face interaction has been changed. Therefore, people start to pay more attentions to if the interaction between teacher and student would be able to bring more positive influences through communication technology and network tools. In fact, there are many examples using modern information technology tools to contact in University studies. For example, the problems from homework, teacher assigns works, students complete the work. It is potentially meaningless for the interaction only on completing job and assignment, and from feedbacks, teachers often receive emails without any comments, which add more works on searching the senders’ information. Meanwhile, there are no confirmations from the teachers after students sending the homework, which makes students focus on the delivery issues. The primary cause of these problems is that although modern IT tools has entered the campus life, there are no further principles to be followed. This research is aiming to design a modern IT environment under the teacher-student interaction principle.By reading and analyzing the literature, he research concludes how to balance the relationships between teachers and students, the current interaction situation, basic principles of interpersonal communication and modern IT and so on. Also, the essay works out the basic theory, Habermas’ s theory of communicative action. In the part of principles and cases designing, it used researching and designing studies to understand current situation of teacher-student interaction and existing problems. Moreover, through the process of analysis, design, evaluation and redesign to put forward principles of teacher-student interaction, then design the reference examples.According to research, it is concluded that social principles between students and teachers in the modern information technology environment should be as following:1. The principle of Reasonableness;To follow this principle, the goals and the standards must be reasonable.2. The principle of equality;To achieve this principle, it must achieve the status that there are democracy and equlity between the both sides and also the students show respect to teachers as well as the teachers love their students.3. The principle of interactivity; to achieve this principle we need to try to gain the initiative and continuance4. The principle of acceptance; we need to convert the traditional concept of the teachers and also cultivate the informational ability of the students and teachersAnd eventually, we will discuss the most common contact between both sides that comes from the homework as an example, and design the reference example of the contact between the students and teachers under the environment of the modern information technology environment, following the principles of design.
