Abstract/Summary:
The stability and development of colleges and universities rely on solid logisticalsupport. At present, institutions of higher education of our country is in the period ofstrategic opportunities for development, logistics of colleges and universities are facinggreater challenges. But owing to historical reasons, universities do not pay enough attentionto the logistics department, the overall quality of the logistics staff is not high, managementand staff do not fully understand the purpose and meaning of the construction performanceappraisal system, leading to the performance appraisal system in university logisticsdepartment did not play its due role, largely just to “do”, cannot stimulate employees andpromote logistics development, performance appraisal work requires a series ofstandardization and strength.Performance appraisal is the main method of employee’s job performancemanagement, and it is also a scientific system to measure, influence, and evaluate theemployee’s performance. To establish a reasonable, targeted performance appraisal systemcould play an important role in promoting the development of the department in theenterprise, mobilizing the enthusiasm of the staff, and keeping the staff making progress, soas to realize the vision and strategic objectives of the department.Based on theoretical reviews of the performance appraisal and status analysis of thesystem of T University Logistics Group (TULG), this paper first identifies existingproblems of performance appraisal system of T University for optimizing it, thenscientifically sets up performance index at different levels and objects to build a relativelycomplete performance appraisal system; finally, makes recommendations for carrying outTULG performance appraisal system.
