Preschool education plays an important role on the compulsory education. It isnot only an important part of basic education, but also as a starting point in thelifelong education.The development of it is to promote children’s of all-rounddevelopment.While,in China it is leaning to cities for a long time before.paying lessattention on it in the Midwest rural.Due to the social development,professional specialization is expanded,manyprofessional are deep into professional fields,specialization has become an importantsocial career development trend,professional has become an important measure ofvocational maturity or index,the principal professional is no exception. The principalis the soul of the development of the kindergarten.So the principal of the kindergartenis mainly role man to improve teaching and administrative leadership in the villagesand towns.it is the key to improve the level of principal’professional development foroverall level of rural kindergarten in Yunnan province.Therefore,we pay attention tothe principal professional development level for quality assurance about ruralpreschool education career education of the western region,which has importantsignificance of theoretical and practical.By using the method of literature analysis,questionnaires,interview andstatistics,this paper throughly studies the current status and problems and restrictingfactors existed in the principals’ professional development of the rural villages andtowns kindergarten of Baoshan, Chuxiong,Wenshan,Yuxi of Yunnan Province as anexample.And then it puts forward some corresponding suggestions andcountermeasures.Through the survey,we found that there are several problems in the principals’professional development of the rural kindergarten: the weak specializationknowledge and quality,the feeble skill and lack of consciousness indevelopment,imperfect management system of the current township the kindergarten,Director training need to further promotion and strengthen,less formal looselyenvironment to promote the principal and the lack of basic theory research of the principal professional development and so on.The writer regards that the reasons areas following:the deep reason is the Urban and rural dual structure,the macroscopicbackground is social Rural education environment,the dominant factor is thegovernment’s administrative management,the key factor is director’s own reason.Therefore,in order to realize the principal’s specialization development of therural,we must enhance the quality director in the professional and make reasonablerole positioning,Establish or play the function of organization,and improve themanagement system of the principal professional development,build standards ofdirector professional and effective support system of kindergarten training,andimprove home awareness,and so on.Then we can promote the principal’s autonomous professional development thekindergarten in Villages and Towns,and broadly utilize various effectivemeasurements,practically making the principal specialization processpromotion,finally pushed the balanced development of preschool education betweenurban and rural.
