My project aims to make an in-depth research into the possibility of teaching Chinese in Senior High School with the innovative teaching methods of the intellectual cognition in playing Chinese Go (a kind of ancient Chinese chess). The3-dimentional aims in teaching Chinese in Senior High School are:knowledge&ability, procedure and method, emotional&viewpoints of value. My thesis is based on psychological theory and aims to generalize the intellectual cognition in playing Chinese Go and the characteristics of Chinese applications, including the theory of teaching thinking skills, combining the intellectual cognition in playing Chinese Go with teaching&learning Chinese in Senior High School with a new perspective, which include the combination of the intellectual cognition in playing Chinese Go with teachers’ accomplishment, the students’learning ability as well as the teaching materials and contents. I put emphasis on interpreting the esthetic connotation of intellectual cognition in playing Chinese Go and appeal for the important role that playing Chinese Go plays in present quality education. My thesis puts forward the approaches of achieving the above goal, focuses on the difficulty and dilemma of practice in teaching Chinese in Senior High School, and illustrates the operability of teaching Chinese in Senior High School with the innovative teaching methods of the intellectual cognition in playing Chinese Go.Research Method:Summing-up teaching experience and using analogy to achieve the goal of teaching Chinese in Senior High School with the innovative teaching methods of the intellectual cognition in playing Chinese Go.Results and conclusions:My project make an in-depth research into and illustrates the operability of teaching Chinese in Senior High School with the innovative teaching methods of the intellectual cognition in playing Chinese Go systematically and comprehensively, both from the theoretical and practical aspects, and fill the gaps in the field of research in language teaching.
