| Today, Chinese higher education has entered into the popular stage. Facing thisdeveloped background, private colleges, in order to achieve the education goal of"development of application-oriented education, training of applied talents, building ofapplication-oriented university " must enhance their reputation and influence in the societythrough improving the quality of personnel training, thereby to develop theircompetitiveness. Development of quality of personnel training involves all aspects, amongwhich improvement of the quality of lecture teaching is a very critical factor. Many scholarshave conducted a series of studies on it. But there is still a lack of systematic research abouthow to establich effective quality evaluation of lecture teaching in private colleges. Toimprove the situation, this article takes Shaanxi Institute of International Tradeï¹ Commerceas an example for the research.On the basis of the achievements of previous studies, this article systematicallydiscourses the concept of quality evaluation system of lecture teaching, and puts forward thenew idea, that the quality evaluation system of lecture teaching means " an entire thing ofmutual contact and mutual restaint after weighing all indicators of lecture teaching" bycombining the theory of social interaction, the theory of multiple intelligence with goaltheory.Taking Shaanxi Institute of International Tradeï¹ Commerce as an example, this studyanalyses the current situation and influencial factors of the quality evalutaion system oflecture teaching of private colleges, and points out the problems of the existing system, whichshows as follows: not extensive evaluation subject; not comprehensive evaluation data; notobjective evaluation content; not clear feedback channels and etc.By studying the existing problems in the system and comparing the evaluation indicatorsystem home and abraod, a number of different focuses of the quality evaluation systemamong private colleges and state-run colleges are defined. Based on the concepts oforientation and motivation and by making use of the collected questionnaire, it analyses theindicator system relating to teaching evaluation, such as purpose of teaching, teaching methods and teaching organizations, and studies in-depth all aspects relating to the qualityevaluation system, such as the teachers’ teaching and the students’ learning. Meanwhile, withthe help of expert advice as well as related methods, the lecutre teaching in ShanXiGuoMaoUniversity verifies and amends the system to ensure the maneuverability of the qualityevaluation system of lecture teaching in private colleges.Furthermore it refines all indicators to build a completely new set of quality evaluationsystem of lecutre teaching, which includes different evaluation subjects and their evaluationstandards and weights, the calculation of general evaluation results and feedbacks. After thestudy, it reaches a conclusion of an effective formula for the calculation of the evaluationresults: Student evaluation results×40%+experts (peer) evaluation results×60%.The effective implementation of the evaluation system prompts teachers to strengthen theteaching contents, methods, reforms, individualized teaching, improves the effectiveness oflecture teaching and promotes student classroom behavior norms and good learning habits, soas to create a good classroom atmosphere for learning, which promotes excellent teachingstyle, learning style and offers the basis for the future teaching evaluation for other similaruniversities. |
