Classroom teaching reform is one most popular and hot topic for discussion, so based onit, various new teaching models, new teaching methods and new teaching ideas are emergingcontinually. Although teaching methods or strategies have been improved greatly with thedevelopment of different teaching reforms, they are still influenced by traditional teachingmethods to a great extent. In fact, in real teaching practices about classroom teaching reform,some problems like “wearing new shoes to take the old way\fashion”,“copying completely”or “standing still in the past” are existing very commonly, which create confusion andhelplessness for teachers and students. So from analyzing the background and meanings ofclassroom teaching reform, this essay will discuss some problems and confusion caused byclassroom teaching reform, then giving some specific thinking strategies and targetedexploring methods for improving classroom teaching reform, and further emphasizing theimportance of learning community for solving teaching reform problems.This essay will be divided into four parts.The first chapter is introduction. In this part, research background information andsignificance will be presented, and then explaining the concept of learning community and itsconnotation in details. Also in this research, it is important to discuss the influence and valueof learning community on senior middle school classroom teaching reform. Finally, researchplan and method will be clearly dipped.Based on case study of Third Senior Middle School of Siping City, the second chapterwill conduct a survey about current classroom teaching situation. The questionnaire questionsand topics will be designed according to teaching situation and reality of this school. Byanalyzing the results, it is found that some problems with universality and individuality areexisted. In order to solve these practical problems, learning community classroom teachingmodel can provide good insights for teaching reform based on case study of Third SeniorMiddle School of Siping City.The third chapter firstly poses some useful teaching reform strategies of senior middleschool classroom based on learning community, which is the focus of this research. Then theresearch presents some theoretical knowledge of learning community, classroom teachingdesign strategies and classroom teaching process. By effectively utilizing and applyinglearning community in classroom teaching reforms of senior middle school and in subjectteachings, learning community will direct and guide greatly teaching reform directly andoperatively. In the fourth chapter, based on Third Senior Middle School of Siping City, this part willfirstly analyze case study of improving classroom teaching performance with the help oflearning community. Then it will comment and analyze one class experiment hour of achemistry teacher under the requirement of classroom teaching reform of Third Senior MiddleSchool. Further, based on Third Senior Middle School of Siping City,the achievements,influences, significance and disadvantages of classroom teaching reform will be discussed.Finally, it is pointed that classroom teaching reform is a gradual process, which needscontinually exploring and improving.Recently, in China, there are many case studies about learning community constructedby teachers of middle schools or primary schools, or studied by college faculties, but as isknown, the focus of new curriculum reform in ordinary high schools is the reform ofpedagogy and learning methods. As a result, constructing a learning community is the core ofclassroom teaching reform. Therefore, the idea and practice of learning community will havegreat significance of classroom teaching reform in senior middle school level. Also this paperendeavors to propose some tentative directions and solutions, so as to further come up withvaluable and theoretical opinions for classroom teaching reform and practice.
