Project Management On Laboratory Management In Universities

As an advanced management model, project management has been widely used in government, enterprises, associations and the different industries. Project management, by the way of taking the project as its target, achieves various aims of plan, organization, instruction and control. Hence, it effectively controls the whole process and makes an over-all coordination and optimization for the project targets. Project management generally centers on its plan, organization, quality management, cost and progress control. In the typical settings of project, based on the task (activity) definition, management structure controls time, cost and labors, as well as the technique and risk.At present, to improve the level of laboratory management, many colleges and universities involve the project management in their laboratory management. This paper develops the theory and applied methods of project management in teaching of experiment on different aspects like integrated management, range management, time management, cost management, quality management, human resource management, communication and information management, purchasing management, risk management and so on. At the same time, this paper provides the comprehensive project management methods for laboratory resources, labors and activities.
