Research On Laboratory Construction Project Of Local University

In our country, the universities usually are divided into ministries’universities and local universities. Local universities are founded and managed by the provincial government or civic government. Local universities got a rapid development in the 90’s of last century. It’s been aiming to train massive practical talents for China’s economic and social development. For the purpose of developing the local universities students’practical ability, application ability and innovation ability, it is necessary to improve the management level of the laboratory construction and to play the role of laboratory in university teaching and researching.As a more mature theory, project management’s applications continue to expand. In this paper, literature research, case analysis, survey method and other methods are used. Choosing a local university——A college’s laboratory management as an example, based on the investigation of its laboratory management, this paper pointed out there are some major issues, such as lack of scientific oriented laboratory construction planning, below standard of experiment sites and equipments, not well established of the technical team. On this basis, this paper put forward that in order to improve A college’s laboratory management, it is necessary to build a laboratory construction project model by using the theory and methods of project management. Finally, this paper analyzes the expected results of the model, and pointed out the key tasks. First is to strengthen the management of projects planning to get an overall consideration. Second is to strengthen the integration of projects to effectively use the resources.
