According to China’s basketball development, the development of CUBA andCUBS, basketball game is expanding its influence. College basketball game is comingto the marketization, basketball has made great progress in Henan province. In thisthesis, the author take various methods to analyze the basketball marketizationphenomenon in Henan province and its historical inevitability and necessity. TakeU.S. successful experience, the author analyze some problems in the basketballmarketization process in Henan and propose appropriate measures. The results are asfollows:In order to keep pace with the development of society and economy, thebasketball marketization development in Henan is an inevitable trend. Basketballmarketization can promote the development of basketball game and improve thecompetition level, it can also live up the atmosphere.Basketball marketization can raise funds for universities in Henan and help todevelop basketball, it can also stimulate the development of basketball industry andeconomy and spread the basketball culture.There are some problems in the development process of marketization in Henanprovince:imperfect laws and regulations, lack of a perfect professional sportsmarketing strategy, no perfect fixed propaganda effecting, competitive level is lowerthan other provinces, insufficient professional marketing personnel for basketballtournament.We need to take the following measures: develop marketing personnel forbasketball tournament, use media to improve propaganda scope and strength, perfectlaws and regulations.
