| For the majors of PE teaching in Ordinary colleges and universities, the basketball exams is the key link of selecting excellent students and the necessary path of recruiting majors of basketball for various sports colleges all over the country. But an important factor influencing the quality of recruiting students majoring in basketball lies in the scientificness and rationality of items choosing, examining method and establishment of marking criterion, which immediately affects the selection and matriculation of such colleges.Henan is one of the provinces which have a relatively larger number of PE examinees. In recent years, as colleges providing wider access to higher education and the vigorous development of athlete sports in China, the numbers of students taking part in the enrollment of physical education has been increasing year by year. We need draw out a suit of scientific and rational testing method and marking criterion so as to select excellent students to have a further education and adequately embody the principle of"justice, justness and publicity". The examination content and marking criterion of basketball exams in Henan has continued to be used since 1997, and for these 10 years, we just chose two items of techniques as testing content (namely, one-minute's shot and round-trip dribbling in a half-court) and neglect examinees'specialized qualities, overall levels of techniques and consciousness in sports, can such a way show the examinees'comprehensive specialized level? Is the marking criterion scientific and veracious? It is necessary to make a judge of its objectiveness, veracity and practical manipulation. In view of the two aspects mentioned above, taking the added items in Henan and the original results of examinees in 2007 as studying objective, applying some subjects such as pedagogy, physics and statistics and adopting a comprehensive study method involving documentation, experts'talk show and mathematical statistics, etc., this paper has an analysis of items setting, methods and marking criterion in Henan and finally gets the summary: (1)items are set illogically; (2) the marking criteria is not scientific and bears discrepancy; (3) compared with other items, it is easier to get scores for the item of basketball and the examinees are relatively more than others.This paper has a comprehensive study of the contents of added exams, examining methods and marking criterion about basketball in PE teaching in Henan, and proposes some possible or feasible advice. The main ideas lie in that: (1)In order to better embody the characteristics of specialized item of basketball, we suggest the exam add running up as another examining item; (2) For the sake of great odds in one-minute's shot and great disparity between the marking criterion of boys and girls students, we advise adding one more chance of shooting so as to bridge the disparity of the two genders; (3)We advise increasing the technical standard in the round-trip dribbling and amending the marking standards; (4)Since the exam is affected by the factors such as man-made, weather, sports field and equipment, etc., we advise the basketball used in exams should meet the standards so as to make students do themselves justice in the exams. |
