As diverse social thoughts appear, ideological education of universityfaces challenge, therefore, the university has to explore new methods tocope with this challenge, so that the effects can be made. Popular culturecan make positive identification formed among the educated, thus theirsense of cohesion can be strengthened. Popular culture may exert aninfluence on the students’ ideology. Therefore, it should be made gooduse of to ensure the idea of ideological education goes deep into thehearts of the students.This thesis includes five chapters. Chapter one introduces somerelevant definitions and significance of the research, including definitionof idea of ideological education of university, its characteristics andclassification, definition, characteirstics and forms of popular culture.Chapter two is where the theme lies in.
