With the growing popularity of the Flipped Classroom teaching mode in the U.S., thisnew type of teaching mode has become a new wave of education reform at home and abroadand has provided a new thought to further develop the mathematics teaching of middle school.To meet the new requirements that the new curriculum reform made on the mathematicsteaching of junior middle school as well as the requirements that the ten-year developmentplan of education informationization (2011-2020) made on the innovative teaching mode,applying the Flipped Classroom teaching mode in junior middle school can effectively solvethe current serious problems that exist in junior middle school mathematics teaching,promote students’ autonomous learning ability, improve the quality of mathematics teachingand meet the different learning needs of the students.Based on Bloom’s mastery learning theory, this study uses the experience of the domesticand foreign advanced flipped classroom teaching mode for reference, design and construct thestructure of the flipped classroom teaching mode in mathematics teaching and has madeempirical research in mathematics teaching of middle school. According to the teachingprocess of the flipped classroom, guide the students to autonomously learn the teaching videoto complete knowledge transmitting process after class and complete the knowledgeinternalization process through autonomous and cooperative activities at class. Students’learning effect has been evaluated after the experiment. Communicate with students by meansof free talk, understand the students’ feelings and opinions for this kind of teaching mode andhas researched and studied the students’ autonomous learning situation with the method ofquestionnaire survey.Through the research analysis above: the flipped classroom teaching mode can improvelearners’ math grades, promote learners’ autonomous learning ability, cooperative andinnovative ability. Students have shown great interest in the new teaching mode and havegiven full approval.According to the China’s basic educational teaching situation, we find the relatedenlightenment at the end of this paper. Inspite of the many advantages of the flippedclassroom teaching mode, it is still very difficult to apply it nationally due to the imperfectmodern informational technology hardware of the schools and teachers’ low information literacy. We need to explore the flipped classroom teaching mode of mathematics teachingthat is suitable for China’s national situations.
