Function plays a great important role in mathematics and is a key concept during thehigh school math courses. Because of the concept of function being abstract and difficultunderstanding for beginning learners, there are many problems for its teaching during highschool. The dissertation is designed as follows. Firstly, we review the conception of function.Secondly, we analyze the influence factors of high school students’ cognitive level for theconcept of function and its teaching in high school. Then, we give some pieces of teachingadvice for its teaching under the requirements of new curriculum standard. Finally, a teachingplan of concept of function is displayed. |
