Generation of the socialized service system of agriculture is the inevitable resultof the commercialization of agriculture. The socialized service system of agricultureplays a decisive role for the developed countries not only in their agriculturalmodernization but also in their whole national economy. Actually, taking all aboveinto consideration, establishing socialized service system for agriculture is imperativeespecially for the Chinese rural economic system reform. However, China’s currentagricultural commodity rate is not high enough. There are many problems exist in ourcountry’s agricultural service system as well. Therefore, the Chinese CentralCommittee and State Council attach great importance to the construction ofagricultural socialization service system and place it at strategic height. Turning oursight to the world, America, as the world agricultural superpower, its agriculturalservice system is already quite developed, having realized the agricultural integrationmanagement and agricultural modernization. Among its contributors, the U.S. stateuniversities bear the most agricultural education-research-extension responsibilities.So, based on the relevant literature, the author selects the U.S. agricultural“education-research-extension system” as the theme, in the hope of inspiring Chineseagricultural universities reform and solving agricultural issues in China. The authormakes the analysis with research methods such as literature approach,historicalapproach,historical factors analysis approach. And the framework of the paper is asfollows.Introduction. Giving a brief introduction of the research background, researchquestion. Clarifying the research objects, significance of the research, research status,then defining several important concepts.Part one. Using historical approach to comb the history of the U.S. stateuniversities agricultural “education-research-extension system”, and extracting factorswhich influence the system’s generation and development.Part two. Discussing the three components as well their relationship of the U.S.state universities agricultural “education-research-extension system”——agriculturaleducation, agricultural scientific research, agricultural extension.Part three. Illuminating its operating mechanism of the U.S. state universitiesagricultural “education-research-extension system”, which including both its insideand outside organization system, safeguard mechanism, incentive mechanism and coordination mechanism.Part four, Making a reflection on the U.S. agricultural universities and colleges“education-research-extension system”, discussing its advantages and disadvantages.Conclusion. Summarizing research findings and research prospects. Coming upwith solutions to solve the research question.
