This paper suggests that the ultimate goal of leisure activities not only affects leisure satisfaction, but also resident’s subjective well-being. However, there is a lack of empirical support on the relationship between China night-time leisure activities and subjective well-being. Based on the above analysis, this paper researches the relationship between subjective well-being and night-time leisure activities has both theoretical and practical value.Based on the review of related literature, taking Hangzhou as a case study, the paper is focused on the post-80generation, researched the relationship between night-time leisure acitivitis and subjective well-being and taken social support as a moderator variable in this relationship. Statistical analysis methods that used in this paper are:factor analysis, correlation analysis, analysis of variance and hierarchical regression analysis.Four major findings are found through the collection and analysis of empirical data, including:①a significant positive relationship between social activities, recreation activities, physical activities and life satisfaction;②a significant positive relationship between social activities, physical activities and positive affect; no statistically significant correlation between recreation activities and positive affect;③a significant negative relationship between physical activities and negative affect; no statistically significant correlation between social activities, recreation activities and negative affect;④social support plays a partial moderator role to the night-time leisure activities and positive affect, negative affect; no statistically significant moderator role in relationship between the night-time leisure activities and life satisfaction. The results reveal that participating the night-time leisure activities is a manifestation of resident’s life satisfaction, especially through improving positive affect to get the balance of positive affect and negative affect, which affected subjective well-being.According to the results, combined with the practical experience in China tourism planning, the paper briefly discusses the principles into developing and managing night-time leisure activities into tourism and recreation utilities in China.
