As the society today is changing increasingly fast, we are confronted with the complex world of good and bad, today’s education is now adapting to a lifelong development. Under such circumstance, considering the physical and mental development of the youth, family education and school education must join forces to carry out practice and research on the home-school cooperation to maximize the educative effect and influence and promote the healthy development of the children. Therefore, home-school cooperation has gradually become an important theoretical value and practical significance of contemporary issues.This study, taking the teachers, parents and students of the Secondary Primary School Attached to Northeast Normal University as the main investigating objects, is constructed under the guidance of home-school theory and education theory, restrained by the national education policy. Questionnaires are designed from the angle of both teachers and parents, covering the five dimensions of the teachers and the parents’attitudes towards the home-school cooperation, the organization and construction of home-school cooperation, the contents, the real practice, and the effect and evaluation. The investigation is carried out by questionnaires and other forms and the findings questionnaires being scientifically analyzed.Through analyzing the home-school situation in the Secondary Primary School Attached to NENU and taking some research results from other regions as a reference, the following conclusions:Compared with the more traditional home-school situation, some progress has been made in the Secondary Primary School Attached to NENU. Some of this progress is the positive impact of social progress and scientific and technological development, such as the network communication, SMS, twitter and other means of modern communication. Some progress is due to the influence of the parents and teachers’ democratic consciousness, for instance, some of the parents are now involved in school’s teaching, administration and other high-level cooperation. Some are the result of a general increase in educational attainment of parents, as some parents focus on providing conditions for the comprehensive development of children. They are more and more involved in the emotional interaction with the children, caring about the children’s state of mind, strengthening their parenting skills and endeavoring to set role models for children.However, there are still some problems in the process of implementation of the home-school cooperation. They appear in the forms of unclearness of home-school relationship, being harsh on each other, inefficient and non-effective cooperation and the lost of goal in parents training. Such problems may also exist, such as the incapacity of Parents Committee, lack of laws and rules to guarantee the rights of the family involvement in education, the overwhelming focus on intellectual development other than anything else in this cooperation, the one-way communication-teachers to parents only, insufficient inter-active communication, the selective communication that is unable to cover all aspects and members, the unsatisfactory frequency, time and form of communication.The following recommendations are made Based on the problems discovered in this research.1. Strategy on attitude:to clarify goals and set up a harmonious relationship.(1) To achieve mutual understanding, mutual respect.(2) To establish a dialogue relations of trust.2. Strategy on organizational systems:to improve home-school cooperation system.(1) To establish an independent home-school organization system.(2) To exercise the full capacity of the parents committee.(3) To establish an efficient education and training system.3. Strategy on the content fulfilling:to improve home-school cooperation mode.(1) To emphasize on parent-child activities, and work against the overweight on intellectual than physics.(2) To use the network well and promote two-way communication through parents’school.4. Strategy on practical side:to emphasize on the development of Parents as a resource.(1) To develop the family resources and strengthen cooperation.(2) To make the parents partners of the schools and increase the number of communication.(3) To make the parents friends of the school and enrich the ways and methods of communication.
