| Education should emphasizes on the growth of people, it should be aimed atcultivating all-round developed people with recognizable and independent personalityand comprehensive knowledge. However, in the background of exam-orientededucation, the only thing students pursue is exam results and rankings, they cannotabsorb any nutrient from life education. The huge pressure have had a negative effect onteenagers, getting a good exam results are more important than getting a comprehensivedevelopment. Facing a rash of student suicides, we have to ask ourselves what makesthis happen and what we can do for the incorrect educational aims and direction.On the basis of relevant life education theories and the investigation and analysisof life education in xx Senior High School, the paper surveyed the status of lifeeducation in China, and put forward some improvement measures for the existingproblems, in the hope of offering some valuable references for the senior high schoolsto advance life education.The paper is divided into six parts: The first part is introduction, mainly expoundthe origin, significance and methods of the research,the core concept. The second part isliterature review of domestic and foreign research of life education. The third partanalyzed the necessity for high schools to implement life education from the aspects ofthe appeal of people oriented, the necessary choice for new curriculum reform and theneed of the students’ physical and mental development. The forth part is about the statusof life education in XX High School. The fifth part analyzed the current situation of theimplement of life education in XX High School and the reasons resulting in such asituation. The last part provided some suggestion and feasible measures for carrying outlife education in senior high school. |
