Along with the implementation of the merit pay of other public institutions, theSecondary vocational schools teachers’ performance pay reforms carried out in2010. Itbroke out the traditional salary system.It is a bold attempt to for the education sector tochange the income distribution system. The reformation is of great significance toimprove teachers’ survival status. It’s helpful to change school management andpromote the development of vocational education.The reform has obtained someachievements in the recent3years,but many problems occur on the level of theory and inpractice. Selecting Chong Qing vocational school teachers’ performance salary reform asthe research object, this paper discusses Chinese traditional culture, the principle ofperformance payment system,the influence of national policy on teachers’ performancesalary reform. On the basis of field research to6vocational schools in Chong Qing,the author discussed two main problems of the present reforms of vocational schoolteachers’ performance pay. Firstly it’s difficult to press ahead with the reforms, manypolicies can’t be implemented. Secondly the teachers are unsatisfied with the reforms.Concerning the development demand of vocational education,the paper proposedcorresponding solutions on government,school and teachers, aiming atproviding some references for the reforms and the improvement of schoolmanagement. |
