Concluded in psychological phenomenon,as a whole can not be simply split its elements, the whole is greater thanand parts, and determine the nature of the part, forming the overall view. Then, Wertheimer to speculate, people always adopt the way of direct andunified the perception of things as an unified whole, rather than acollection of a group of individual feeling, on the basis of sorting out aseries of principles of perceptual organization. Wertheimer upfront for hislater on the study of psychology to education psychology, laid atheoretical foundation on the study of classroom teaching, work publishedin1945, two years after its death Productive Thinking is the mostimportant works in his life, Wertheimer will gestalt learning theoryapplied to humans in the discussion of creative Thinking, and suggestedby grasp the overall problem or global creative Thinking. The article is divided into four parts:The first chapter: introduction. Instructions to Wertheimer’smathematics education thought research purpose and meaning, development and status quo of research both at home and abroad, themain research method, and the innovation of the research. The second chapter: Wertheimer’s life and his main research. Itintroduced in detail on Wertheimer’s life experiences and his differentresearch content of different stages, which was from the apparentmovement phenomenon to the end of the creative thinking. The third chapter: Wertheimer’s work Productive Thinking and hismain mathematics education thought. To Wertheimer’s life his onlymonograph Productive Thinking as the center, some chapters are listed indetail the book content, appropriate. Mining, generalization, inductiveWertheimer’s mathematics education thought: learning and problemsolving themselves make learners satisfied; The details of the problemshould be only linked to the whole situation of the structure considering;Problem solving should catch the nature of the problem, from the overallgrasp the key, Clear the real creative thinking process; Pay attention to thesubjective initiative of people. The fourth chapter: Teaching case. Based on the problemsencountered in the teaching and puts forward some teaching Suggestions:in the daily learning experience fully present the available knowledge; The overall structure of the analysis of the current problem situation; Letstudents to boldly guess, form hypotheses; Pay attention to the old andnew knowledge communication. Give two teaching cases of usingWertheimer’s mathematics education thought. They respectively are“understanding and painting the high of parallelogram and trapezoidal” inhalf semester of grade four,“multiplication distributive law” in thesecond half semester of grade four.Article based on research Wertheimer’s mathematics educationthought, combining Wertheimer on the basis of the original Englishwriting, the paper summarizes the idea. At the same time, try to applyWertheimer’s mathematics education thought in the elementary schoolmathematics classroom teaching, the elementary school mathematicsteaching to play a positive role in promoting.
