After entering the21st century, with the development of science and technology, Internet addiction and related research become one of the object of psychological research in recent years, Internet addiction is a new era of economic development of new products, mainly due to excessive use of network or the individual negative impact brought by the improper use network and addictive behavior.As the research object of college students is a special group, they are in a critical period of youth transition, college students first time apart from their parents, faces a completely unfamiliar environment, on the other hand, in the psychological sense, college students are looking forward to get out of control of parents, in this case, the college students may be in an unbalanced state of mind. Although academia at home and abroad on the definition of Internet addiction and diagnosis has not yet formed a unified standard, but in the context of the existing research, this research mainly is the college students as the research object, discusses the influence of the college students Internet addiction mechanism, is of practical significance. Social anxiety refers to the individual in a unfamiliar environment and social activities, easy to produce discomfort and anxiety. Relative to the internal influence social anxiety and social support are mainly concentrated in the external factors that affect the individual. Therefore, this research on Internet addiction and study the correlation between social anxiety, social support, is also of great practical significance.Aimed to explore, the relationship between communication anxiety and social support on Internet addiction, this study to college students as the research object, adopts the literature method, questionnaire method and statistical analysis, using the "revised Chinese Internet addiction scale","interaction anxiety scale","social support rating scale" of three scale questionnaire to400subjects were measured, recovery after rejecting invalid questionnaire, the remaining372, using the support SPSS11.5to data of descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis of the characteristics of college students’ Internet addiction, and the characteristic of the communication anxiety and social support, probes into the relationship between the variables. Through the analysis, the following conclusions:1, college students Internet addiction, liberal arts and use time on gender aspects there are significant differences, male college students have a higher tendency of Internet addiction; Liberal arts majors are higher than science professional Internet addiction tendency; Use for a long time people than the occasional use network has a higher tendency of Internet addiction. By independent samples t test and multiple factor analysis of variance showed that college students of different gender in time management and interpersonal and health problems dimensions exist significant difference; College students of different students to significant difference exists in the compulsive behavior online dimension; Different professional college students on the withdrawal behavior and withdrawal reaction dimensions exist significant difference; Whether for the singleton female college students in Internet addiction scores and compulsive Internet behavior, withdrawal and withdrawal reaction, Internet addiction tolerance and interpersonal and health problems dimensions exist obvious significant difference; Different network age on the withdrawal behavior of college students and the withdrawal reaction, the network addiction tolerance dimensions have significant differences.2, through independent sample t test and multiple factor analysis of variance showed that the college students of different gender in social anxiety score, high anxiety group and the low anxiety exist significant difference; Different students of college students in the social anxiety scores, high anxiety group and low on the anxiety group were not significant difference; Different professional college students exist significant differences in social anxiety scores; Whether singleton female college students in the social anxiety scores, high anxiety group and low on the anxiety group were not significant difference; Different network ages of college students have significant differences on high anxiety group.3, through independent sample t test and multiple factor variance analysis revealed that the college students of different gender in social support score of social support, objective support and utilization degree dimensions exist significant difference; Different students of college students exist significant differences in objective support and subjective support. Different professional college students in objective support, subjective support, support utilization and social support score of the four dimensions have no significant difference; College students is only children exist significant differences in subjective support; Different network ages of college students have significant differences in objective support.4, plays a significant role in college students’ Internet addiction and social anxiety are related. High social anxiety group was positively correlated with Internet addiction; Low social anxiety group and negatively correlated with Internet addiction; Social anxiety score was positively correlated with Internet addiction. Internet addiction can be seen from the above conclusion is closely related to social anxiety. In interaction anxiety scale the higher the score, the greater the tendency of Internet addiction, on the contrary, the lower the uniform, the tendency of Internet addiction more low.5, college students’ Internet addiction and social support is significantly negative correlation. Between social support and Internet addiction exists significant negative correlation. Namely the more social support and Internet addiction tendency is lower; The less social support, the higher the orientation of the Internet addiction. The various factors and social support on Internet addiction there is negative correlation between the various factors.6, social anxiety and social support on college students’ Internet addiction has certain prediction effect.
