The paper analyzes the development tendency of the contents and types changes inthe test paper of the senior middle school entrance examination of the subject of moraleducation in Zhenjiang, which took place in the reform of the moral educationcurriculum in2008and the implement of the new courses afterwards. The paper alsosummarizes these out of common or not up to the expectation, and dialectically analyzesthe relationship among the senior middle school entrance examination of moraleducation which is restricted by the examination-oriented education operation mode,conception of new subject and standards of new subject.Firstly, under the background of course reform, the moral education in Zhenjianghas put efforts on the reform of structure, style and contents on the test paper. Afterexperiment of the new course in junior middle school in2005, new breakthrough wasmade in the proposition concept and method, which was more scientific, morenormative and noveler. Secondly, the reform of the moral education in Zhenjiang madethe steady innovation. It takes the curricular standards as the basis for proposition, andcomplies with the principles in the proposition of senior middle school entranceexamination. It has its own distinctive style compared to the entrance examinations inother area. While meeting the direction of the curricular reform and requirements ofnew curriculum, it keeps changing and innovating in the style. It also shows its newcharacteristic in the contents and keeps innovation during inheritance. Thirdly, althoughthe reform of the moral education in Zhenjiang is in the front rank of reform in thesenior middle school entrance examination all over China, there is a certain amount of imperfection and area that needs to be improved compared to some other cities. Fourthly,there would be no vitality if there were no curriculum reform or examination reform.The reform of moral education for senior middle school entrance examination, as thebaton, has reflected the concept of new curriculum and provided the positive guide tothe extensive teachers and students as well, which mainly lies in the transformation inteaching and learning. Therefore it plays essential role in carrying forward thecurriculum reform and deepening the Essential-Quality-Oriented Education to study thereform of the senior middle school entrance examination in Zhenjiang. In addition,continuous exploration and innovation are needed in future.
