The21stcentury is a century of information economy and knowledge economy,in order to maintain and improve the overall national strength and the country’sstatus, nurturing talents that adapting the competition of the society and improvingthe developing of the society is the most important task of the nation’s education.Under the new circumstances, the global market focus on talents, therefore, humanresources (or talent resources) have become the central issue that every country isabsorbing and taking advantage of. According to the needs of the country’scompetitiveness and development, we should cultivate students who are qualified tothe society and have the ability to create. In this thesis, I will start from the current status on extensive courses ofinnovative physics experiments in senior high schools, based on my experiencestudying and visiting the United States, comparing the features on both Chinese’sand U.S. schools cultivating students’ creativity. I find out that to cultivate students’creativity, we ought to give them an environment which is suitable to them andshould improving teaching resources and faculties’ ability. I also raise the PBLteaching method,5L teaching method based on STEM, way-target analysis strategyand goal back-stepping method, and apply them on LEGO robots teaching and theother creative experiments in expanding course.I also make use of “action research method†in research method of educationalpractice to design new curriculum and develop lecture notes. By means ofeducational practice and reflections from students, observing students’ attitude andevaluation towards the new curriculum, to improve the curriculum sets and teachingprocesses. Via longitudinal analysis, the author tracking senior high school first-year students who participated in the first session of this ectensive course, and observetheir study variation tendency in physics until they are in grade three. With the helpof statistical software SSPS, I analyze the difference on the students’ physics studybetween who has attended the extensive course to those has not, meanwhile, I canprovide practicable school-based curriculum for this school. In virtue of questionnaire survey and score-analysis research, I find thatstudents show more interests in those extensive courses on robots learning part, andit has recessive influences on helping some students in their following study.Formulating quantitative evaluation table, evaluation details and teaching lecturenotes will be helpful to the educators later. |
