To carry out the writing teaching in elementary school can not only cultivate pupilsin all aspects, but inherit and carry forward our Chinese traditional culture. The school’steaching of writing has got a huge impact because of the increase of theinformationization, networking, paperless, as well as the one-side examination systemon student’s writing ability. In this case, this paper combines the teaching of writing inthe curriculum standard and related proposals based on the "Chinese curriculumstandard (experiment draft)" and "Chinese curriculum standard (comment draft)",analyzing four representative versions of Chinese Textbook and also doing somesurveys on students, teachers, parents, schools and education authorities. Results,however, show that the teaching of writing in modern teaching environment is sonegative that emerged a lot of problems to be solved which can not be easily ignored.Starting from the analysis of the causes of these problems, this paper furtherly putsforward the ideas existed in the teaching of writing. During the process of writing, thestudents should keep these four main ideas in mind:“Culture and Aesthetic as theGuidance”,“Habit First with a Gradual Process”,“Curriculum Leading followed byTraining”,“Teacher’s Demonstration with Family-School Cooperation”. It is alsosuggested that teachers should pay attention to their self-improvement during theirteaching of writing, putting forward that teachers must make the six strategies ofestablishing writing-teaching target system, enriching the contents of courses, makeingfurther efforts on changing their attitudes, mobilizing a variety of teaching strategies,and invigorating various teaching resources. At the same time, education authorities areadvised to create a better environment of writing teaching, proposing two strategies ofsetting up a long-term mechanism of writing teaching evaluation and Teachers’ literacytraining and appraisal mechanism. Schools are also recommended to guarantee the timeand space for the teaching of writing, raising the strategy of building a curriculumsystem, and clearly defining the class hours, launching teaching and researchingregularly. Besides, parents are suggested to focus on the cooperation with school,presenting that they need to have a clear understanding and a positive attitude first, thenencourage the children to practice writing in different kinds of ways, and actually creat a good atmosphere of writing for the children.
