| Education is an important cornerstone of building a socialist harmonious society. Nowadays, there is still a wide gap between the regions and family incomes, some students cannot complete their education successfully due to family financial crisis. In order to promote equity in education and the education development in coordination, and to help students with financial difficulties complete their education, the country launched the project: national student loans. It is crowded by the unanimous praise, but it also accompanied by many deficiencies. Sichuan Province is located in the western region, made a series of achievements in the implementation of the national student loan while unsatisfactory deficiency still exists. Problems still happen, such as conflicts between supply and demand for loans, the issue of overdue or unpaid loans, the loophole in identification of loan eligibility, and the imbalance between launches of loan.This paper is going to propose suggestions, which is based on the issued questionnaires to college students in Sichuan Province and derived statistical analysis, to improve the national student loan operation mechanism. The proposals also benefit from the domestic and overseas implement policy of student loans.In this article, the author introduces the research background, significance of the topic, research review, ideas and methods at home and abroad; secondly brings up the he theoretical basis of the implementation of national student loan.In the main part of the article, the mathematical statistics are conducted from the survey on800students whom study in four Directly under MOE universities in Chengdu. The effective samples are collected from754valid questionnaires. Then on the basis of referred survey, the article reveals the main problems of Sichuan’s national student loans and following reason analysis. Finally, according to the revealed issues and causes, it gives the advice on the policy of Sichuan’s national student loan, which is considered from total four sides:the government, colleges, banks and students. Domestic and overseas operation mechanism of student loans are also consulted. |
