The Constructional Research Of Teaching Quality Management System Based On ISO9000Standard

Teaching quality, the lifeline of school, is the fundamental factor for school to improve the social reputation and to win the competition home and abroad, which is closely related with the school’s survival and sustainable development. With the college expansion plan going and higher education popularizing, the teaching quality of higher education in China has been impacted. Therefore, the teaching quality management also become increasingly prominent, and become the focus of the society. As our international service market of education expands unceasingly, how to effectively improve the teaching quality of institutions of higher learning has become a big problem to be solved today.This paper, systematically elaborated the essential meaning of ISO9000quality management system, discussed the necessity of introducing ISO9000into higher school teaching quality management both in theory and in practice. Using the terms in ISO9000quality management system for reference, this paper puts forward the definition of higher educational products, customers and related parties in the educational process and the basic definitions and principles of the teaching quality. Through introducing the application of ISO9000quality management system in colleges and universities at home and abroad, this paper expounds the present situation and the main problems existing in teaching quality management of Lanzhou University of Technology. Based on the ISO9000clan standard system, the elements and the process of the construction of teaching quality management system in Lanzhou university of technology were put forward and the problems on operation have been emphasized.This research offers the oratical and practical reference for higher school teaching quality management by introducing some ideas of ISO9000quality management, in order to help institutions of higher learning set up the correct view on education,talent and quality, deepen the understanding about higher educational products and the customers and related parties in the educational process, further improve school management, teaching quality and economic and social benefits, and enhance the competitiveness and adaptation of the school. By making higher education more standardized, scientific and institutionalized, it will be constantly suitable for internationalization.
