| Improving quality is not only the common theme in the international higher education development, but also a much more important and urgent issue that our higher education society is confronting. However, the ideas of quality management about the home higher institution are still backward, the academic study on the education quality management remains on the analysis of some sections and some issues, and the documents about it from the new point of view are not much so far. In practice, the effective methods are still not really found that wholly and continuously improve the education quality to strengthen its core competition. Meanwhile, the theory of Total Quality Management represented by ISO9000 family standard has obtained successful application in a large number of enterprises domestic and abroad. The thesis, on the basis of the knowledge of management, pedagogy and related disciplines, and the practical experience of the higher education managerial work, systematically discusses the application prospect and importance of the theory of ISO9000 Total Quality Management and its core ideas on the higher institution quality management, what's more, conducts an initial study on the problems during the construction of education quality management system in higher institution.The innovative ideas of the thesis lie in: (1) the thesis systematically discusses the problems of the quality management in our higher education and the related academic study; (2) with the combination of its own characteristics of the higher education and the practice of our higher education, it systematically deals with the specific application and guidance for ISO9000 Total Quality Management and its core ideas to improve our higher education quality management; (3) the author makes an initial investigation and puts forward his own proposals on how to enforce theconstruction of education quality management system characterized by Total Quality Management. |
