Abstract/Summary:
Along with the new curriculum reform, high school chemistry changes the original mode of writing, which presented in the form of modules:compulsory module (compulsory1, compulsory2), and elective modules (chemistry and life, chemistry and technology, material structure and properties, principles of chemical reaction, organic chemistry, chemical experiment). New curriculum standard of high school chemistry not only increases the experimental quantity, but experiment content also appears to be more comprehensive. And teaching should make a clear emphasis on students. After the students learning the compulsory, they can learn the other elective modules easily. Because the design of the compulsory course focuses on training students’ability of scientific inquiry.This article selects the chemical experiment inquiry activity of ordinary high school curriculum standard experiment textbook chemistry one (compulsory) and chemicals two (compulsory) published in March of2007from the people’s educational publication. The new curriculum education reform has been implemented for many years, and it injectes new vigor and vitality to chemistry teaching in rural areas. At the same time, it brings great challenge for chemistry teaching and learning. Through the effective teaching strategies of high school chemistry zetetic experiment are expounded, and a rural high school grade two students in Shanxi and the whole school chemistry teachers are interviewed, I summed up the results why can university chemistry zetetic experiment not be implemented:lack of the school’s teaching equipment, backward of teachers’ teaching, exam pressure of students is overweight, parents’ thoughts are conservative. After that I put forward some prerequisites and a few effective teaching strategies to change the status:make the teaching of the experimental demonstration and verification experiment better; develope the activities team to stimulate students’ interest; according to the study design and implement different levels of chemistry zetetic experiments; advocate ways of evaluation in the process of exploring experiment activities.This topic is over. When I seriously reflect on the whole process of research, I find lots of deficiencies existing in the research process. So future research needs to make the subject perfect. After so that, we may put forward more effective teaching strategies for the rural high school to teach the chemistry zetetic experiment. Finally, we can make the teaching thought, teaching concept and teaching action conform to the requirements of high school chemistry new curriculum standard completely.
