With the development of the educational revolution of our nation, the gross enrollment rate ofcolleges is increasing. However, there is an undeniable fact that higher education has manyproblems to be solved, such as the lagging behind college development, low educational quality,and the lowering students’ competency. Campus culture, a crucial part of higher education, canalso be seen as the environment and the content of higher education. Practice proved that thedevelopment of colleges and their students are closely related to the development of campusculture. Campus cultures are not all the same, and they have their own characters. In order to giveplay to campus culture, we must consider the characters of our own campus, such as students’difference, and regional difference, and then can we practice specialized campus culture. Thedevelopment of colleges, as well as their campus cultures is different with their own characters. Sodoes the specialized campus culture. It is difficult to have a consensus on the overview of it, whichdetermines that clarified overview of this topic is one of the main purposes of this research. Thisresearch, with Zhejiang Business Technology Institute as the study object, based on thefundamental connotation of campus culture, explores the specialty out of the generality.This research chooses Zhejiang Business Technology Institute as the sample, and studies thecampus cultural construction in junior colleges. It consists of five parts. In part one, the authoranalyzes the study background, goals, methods and etc. In part two, the author introduces the coreconcepts, important views, basic connotations, and the situation of campus culture development injunior colleges. In part three, the author investigates and analyzes the current situation of junior college’s campus cultural construction, and the problems and influential factors. Based on this, theauthor states that junior colleges must dig for their own advantages and make the most of them indeveloping campus cultures with their own characters. In part four, based on the constructingapproaches of specialized campus culture in Zhejiang Business Technology Institute, combinedwith the campus reality, the research explores the approaches of developing specialized campusculture. In part five, the research focuses on the ways of constructing specialized campus culture injunior colleges, and analyzes these ways under new situation. In specific, the research establishesthe ways of developing specialized campus culture in junior colleges in material level, institutionallevel, and spiritual level.
