The actual teaching process wants the teacher to stimulate students’ initiation tolearn by themselves and to improve the students’ self-learning abilities with the newcurriculum reform carried out, then, it will improve teaching efficiency and completeteaching objectives. The research part in PEP high school geography textbook build agood platform for achieving these targets, however, the author founds out that this partis not taken seriously in actually teaching.Therefore, the author expects to find some method for playing the real value of"Research" part through read a lot of related materials and investigate with othercolleagues. And the author do some attempts in the actual teaching process for thepurpose of getting more experience, in addition, she hopes to improve her teachingability through summarize these experience.In this paper, the author classifies the "Research" part into different categories byreading interviews, investigating with other colleagues and summarizing teachingexperiences. In this research, the author offers some different proposals for the differenttype. In the reality teaching course, the author selects The San yang River where she isteaching as the study subject, using the "Research" named "which conditions isprovided to the Singapore in the economic development by The geographicalenvironment " as a reference. With the local geography Combined, the author shows thegeography is a discipline that linked theory and practice closely. This research is armedto improve the students’ interesting and the students’ self-learning abilities, and then, itis deepened the students’ understanding to their own hometown. This research alsomakes the students love their hometown and life more, improves the efficiencies of theactually teaching, improves the communication between the teacher and the student too.In this paper, the author is expected the geography teacher may know the importanceand practicality of setting "Research" section, thus, the author is implementing it in theactually teaching process, the author is also expecting the Geographic teachesproviding reference to the Geographic teaching.
