Learning motivation belongs to non-intelligence factors. It is the original power to promotelearning. However, many factors, including social environment, teachers and students themselves, etc,have led to the shout of learning motivation, its diversification and utilitarian, which has become arelatively universal phenomenon in today’s undergraduate students. Therefore, it is necessary to helpundergraduate students to establish a correct learning motivation through strengthening theideological and political education.In this paper, the main methods are literature analysis, questionnaire survey and comparativeanalysis to study the undergraduate students ’ learning motivation. First, the paper describes theconcept, classification, theory of the learning motivation and the relationship between the learningmotivation and ideological and political education. Second, by way of the arrangement and analysis ofquestionnaire data, we find that the undergraduate students’ learning motivation intensity is generallyrelatively low and there emerges diversification, utilitarian, and objective fuzziness in learningmotivation. The paper analyzes the causes of this situation from the social, family, school and studentpersonal point. At last, I will propose the following five aspects to help undergraduate studentsestablish correct learning motivation: ideological and political theory course, psychological educationof undergraduate students, the campus culture, positive aspects of the family and society and thecombination of ideological and political education and learning motivation theory. |
