In order to cultivate talents to meet the need of market, lots of universities areactively pursuing high-quality teaching which is supported by the high-level faculty.The traditional faculty management system can’t meet the new strategy of theuniversity talents development. How to improve faculty performance is a major issuefor domestic universities.The Sino-foreign cooperative education operated in K Institute adopts Englishoriginal teaching materials, which requires teachers use bilingual education.Teachers in the program with oversea study experiences are preferred.In the process of program operation, the work of faculty performanceevaluation is of important meaning to program quality, teacher’s personaldevelopment and the sustainable development of the Sino-foreign CooperativeEducation of K Institute.First, this paper takes the Sino-foreign Cooperative Education of K Institute asexample, analyzes its present situation and problems of faculty performanceevaluation.Second, on base of analyzing and summing up performance evaluation theory athome and abroad, with construction principle of faculty performance evaluationsystem, designs faculty performance evaluation system in the sino-foreigncooperative education of K Institute from three dimensions that includes28indexes,meanwhile, uses360degree evaluation method to establish evaluation subjects.Third, with experts’ estimation, uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) toconfirm the target weight coefficient.Finally, puts forward a series of management measures to insure the smoothimplementation of this performance evaluation system.I hope that this study would put forward some instructional suggestions onmethods and practice of faculty performance evaluation. Meanwhile, the paper aimsto contribute ideas for attracting, retaining and cultivating talents, which also can enrich the research horizon of faculty performance evaluation system in domesticuniversities.
