M-Learning Mode And System Research Of Modern Distance Education

Mobile education is the results of mobile communication, networktechnology and modern education, the promotion and development ofeducation will cause the great change of technology and method. As a newstage of development of modern distance higher education, mobile learning istransforming itself from theoretical research to practical application currently.It has characteristics of mobile on learning forms, of customized on learningcontent, of portable on learning device and of relevant on learning situation.These agree with not only essential characteristics of the distance educationthat is separated of time and space, but also value concepts that is promotingthe development of the learners and meeting the demand of individuallearning.After combing the concept of mobile learning, this paper explains thereasons for platform construction, and introduces an idea for m-learningplatform construction and teaching management mode. Learning platform of"Triple Nets Integration" on the base of the radio and TV networks, theInternet and the mobile networks break the barriers among the originalhumdrum network ones, to ensure the diversification, individuation andflexibility of learners. Teaching management mode of "Seven StandardizationsSync" revolutionize the traditional mode of teaching management, and raisethe information level and standardization level of the Open University teaching management, which is included the standardization of high-qualityteaching curriculums, the standardization of instructional design processes, thestandardization of management orders, the Standardization of serving forindividuals, the standardization of autonomous learning, the standardization ofHigh level teaching and the standardization of social teaching evaluation.Under the instruction of this idea, the paper designs system and analyses theapplication of the M-learning, and concretely introduces the designs instructure and function, as an example of the actual situation of Guizhou TVU.According to the designs of the seven modules (such as mobile courseslearning, mobile courses text, mobile courses Q&A, download area,educational information query, mobile Micro-blog and database.), and thedesign of four webpages (such as student registration, course selection, courselearning and online Q&A.), this paper explains the practical application of themobile learning system in distance higher education.
