We often put forward a slogan that teaching should be proficient in the45-minute-clssroom.It was emphasized for lot of years, but the effect is not satisfactory. There are many factors affecting teaching effectiveness. By the in-depth investigation in current classroom teaching, there is an evasive but serious problem how to carry out reasonable and effective allocation and management on the time of classroom teaching, which is also a key factor in teaching quality. The former Soviet Union educationist, Babanski, who talks about optimizing the teaching process and standard, emphasizes not only the teaching effect, but also the teachers and students of the time and the energy consumption.Through the classroom teaching observation, we found that the teaching time management is influnted by the following factors. They are setting the teaching goal, rearranging the teaching content, selecting teaching methods, and designing the teaching steps.This research is based on the theories of time management, and makes use of the research methods such as, the literature review, logical analysis, comparative research method. The thesis reviewed the relevant study on classroom teaching time. According to the inefficient teaching of basic education, this thesis analyses the problems in teaching time management. To solve the problems, the thesis put forward some effective teaching time management strategy.To be exactly, the thesis can be divided into three parts:The first part mainly introduces the backgroud of the research, including the reasons to do the research, the basic theories, the object and significance, and the methods of this research. In addition, this part also generalize the relevant researches about classroom teaching time management all over the world.The second part elaborates the connotation and features of effective teaching, and analyses the effects that the bidimensional structure of teaching time has on the achievements of the students from theory perspective.Based on the main problems of teaching time management, and the theory and practice analysis in the parts before, this part put forward some suggestions to solve the problems.Teaching time is quite important to to the achievements of the learners. Based on the structure analysis of teaching time, this thesis will offer the effective stratages for teaching time management. For example, optimising the teaching design, distributing the teaching time effectively, improving the availability of classroom teaching time, strengthening the consciousness of the student’s self time management. Therefore, the thesis will help teachers manage teaching time more effectively.The last part concludes the achievements and the weakness of the research.
