The effective use of classroom teaching time can reduce both the teachers’ work pressure and the students’ learning pressure, which is of great importance for the students’ growth and development. With the primary school students’ sense of time forming gradually, teachers should make full use of the platform of classroom teaching, strengthening students’ sense of time constantly and exploring the strategy of effective use of classroom teaching time, in order that the limited class time can get the greatest degree of development and utilization. Based on the questionnaires, interviews and analysis to the excellent classroom teaching cases in-depth, we try to put forward relevant suggestions and strategies to optimize the classroom teaching time management in elementary schools. The paper consists of the following parts:The first part is an introduction. The paper describes the research background, purpose and significance, methods, study review and the related research contents.The second part is the present situation analysis to the teachers’ sense of time and management behavior in the classroom teaching. The article mainly analyses the current situation and points out the problems and confusion the primary school teachers faced in the classroom teaching time management.The third part is the analysis to the excellent elementary school classroom teaching cases. Analysing the use of classroom teaching time in the aspect of time distribution of each classroom teaching section and activity as well as teachers’ timeliness words, the article try to provide some enlightenment to the actual teaching for the primary school teachers.The fourth part is the strategy to improve the teachers’ time consciousness and management behavior in classroom teaching. Combined with the questionnaire, interview and case analysis, the article puts forward some strategies of effective management of classroom teaching time for teachers, in the aspect of classroom teaching time distribution, rhythm control of classroom teaching, students’ management ability training and teachers’ teaching reflection.The fifth part is the summary and prospect, which summarized the work done and made the reflection and prospect to the deficiencies and future development on the classroom teaching time management.
