Self-Consistency and Congruency what is one important content in the Rogers’Self Theory reflects the consistency and congruency between the individual self and experience,meanwhile,it shows the level of individual’s mental health from the side. Due to the special nature of their work, teachers need to face the ever-changing students, to face the changing educational environment,and also to face the changing social requirements, so their level of self-consistency and congruency should be paid more attention.In this study, compiled Teachers’Self-Consistency and Congruency Initial Questionnaire through interviews and open-ended questionnaire survey, and then508primary and secondary teachers involved in this investigation, finally formed the formal questionnaire by statistical analysis.On the basis of Teachers’Self-Consistency and Congruency Questionnaire,we investigated368primary and secondary teachers in Chongqing and Sichuan to survey their self-consistency and congruency state. And analyze the relationship among self-consistency and congruency,coping styles and quality of work life while the Easy Ways of Coping Questionnaire and Teachers’Quality of Work Life Questionnaire as measurement tools, to further explore the intermediary role of coping styles between the self-consistency and congruency and quality of work life.The results of this study are as follows:(1) The Teachers’Self-Consistency and Congruency Questionnaire which was self made has good reliability and validity, consists of four dimensions,namely.selzf-acceptance, self-adaptive, self-satisfaction and self-flexibility.(2) Teachers’self-consistency and congruency in gender, marriage, whether as a headteacher. school stage.urban and rural, as well as academic qualifications are no significant differences: significant differences in teaching years and titles.the teaching years more the level of self-consistency and congrucncy higher,these teachers’self-consistency and congruency are best who have worked more than30years; In addition,the titles higher these teachers’self-consislency and congruency better, those leachers’self-consistency and congruency are best who got Senior Professional Titles.(3) Teachers’self-consistency and congruency and coping styles, quality of working life are significantly positively related respectively,the level of teachers’self-consistency and congruency higher,the more inclined to use positive coping styles, also the level of quality of work life higher; self-consistency and congruency has a certain prediction to coping styles and quality of work life respectively; what’s more, self-consistency and congruency and coping styles can jointly predict the quality of work life.Meanwhile, coping styles plays an intermediary role between self-consistency and congruency and quality of work life.
