| In the21st century primary school teachers should not only have excellent and skilledprofessional knowledge, but also should have a good personality. They can have matureperspective on the issues, solve them, and deal with emergencies. In the field of educationmanagement, selection and cultivation of personality have not been valued highly, so thisstudy aimed at exploring the coping styles of different personality traits with primary schoolteachers, therefore, providing some corresponding selection pattern and training methods onprimary school teachers for the educational management.This study adopts quantitative analysis, using the cluster sampling method to selectprimary school teachers.15primary school teachers were selected, including urban and ruralprimary school teachers, distributing350questionnaires, and recycling334effectivequestionnaires. These teachers were conducted a systematic investigation, mainly includingthe big five personality of primary school teachers and the basic characteristics of copingstyles, the correlation of the big five personality and coping styles of correlation, and theregression of the big five personality for the coping styles.From the survey results, there were significant differences in gender and location ofprimary school teachers come from Baoding in the big five personality and coping styles; thebig five personality and coping styles related closely, the personality trait of agreeableness hassignificant positive prediction effect on mature coping styles, the personality traits of cautionhas a significant positive prediction effect on immature coping styles and mixed coping styles.In order to improve the team of primary school teachers and the quality of teachers, schooland education departments should pay attention to the selection of primary school teachers,conduct personality test. Then accordingly the test, conduct some training for the teachersbefore the formal entry and after the induction, which will be conducive to shape niceteachers’ personality, and carry out the teaching job smoothly. |
