Anshan Local Civil Servants’ Mental Health Status And Strategy

Civil servants are the special and important professional groups that directly manage national economic and social various administrative affairs. Representing government, they execute law and decisions enacted by authority; manage national affairs, diplomatic and military administrative affairs and take more challenge from system, mechanism, job, family expectations, own personality, etc. Due to the lack of effective response, civil servants are easily to have psychological problems, and even develop into mental illness.Through the questionnaire survey, this study has investigated for727Anshan local civil servants’mental health status and the related factors by the self-assessment lists of symptom (SCL-90). Through using SPSS17.0statistical analysis software, as gender, age, marital status, education level and level variables, the study has done a variance analysis to Anshan directly under the municipal organs civil servants’psychological health level aspects, such as body obsessive-compulsion symptoms, interpersonal relationship, depression, anxiety, hostile, terror, paranoid and psychosis. At the same time, the study points out the influencing factors of Anshan local civil servants’mental health, including urban development, work characteristics of directly under the municipal organs, professional nature of civil servants, social and cultural factors, Personal and lifestyle factors, social psychological adjustment mechanism and so on. On this basis, the study also has pertinently pointed out the countermeasures that will solve mental health problems of Anshan local civil servants: reduce social conflict, advance urban development scientific; establish and improve the training organs and regulatory mechanisms of local civil servants’mental health; gradually establish and improve career planning support system; improve mental health status of individual of Anshan locl civil servants; improve the social support system.
