If the problems of traditional urbanization and new problems of the new-type urbanization can’t be solved, the new dual economic structure may be produced in the course of urbanization. The thesis studies the restrictive factors of our nation’s rural old-age service industry in the process of urbanization and put forward the development route of our nation’s rural old-age service industry in the circumstance of new-type urbanization.In the future, as the important part of our nation’s rural economy, the rural old-age service industry will be favorable to solve the issues concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers and narrow the gap between town and country. Then it will be beneficial to safeguard the rural old people’s vital interests and relieve the unstable factors of rural society. At last, it has positive effects on realizing urban and rural areas’ development targets and building the new socialist countryside. But, in the process of urbanization, a series of problems hinder the development of rural ole-age service industry.We should pay high attention to that, the problems in the situation of the traditional urbanization exists for a long time and the new problems under new-type urbanization are prominent. In this context, the thesis analysis the problems in the course of our nation’s urbanization, combing our nation’s requirements on the development of rural old-age service industry. Besides, the thesis approaches the countermeasures on developing our nation’s rural old-age service industry on the condition of the new-type urbanization by using the experience of external old-age service industry.
