Research On The Development Of City-industry-people Integration In The Southern Jiangsu During The New Type Urbanization

In March 2014,the "National New Urbanization Plan(2014-2020)" was officially launched,which marks that China’s urbanization has entered a new period of major transformation.In the mid and late stages of the "Plan" background,we need to reflect on and improve the development ideas of new urbanization in the light of the current development situation.The city-industry-people integration is a new development idea based on the city-industry integration,which is a response to the idea of "people-oriented" and the goal of meeting "the growing needs of the people for a better life".Based on the existing relevant research and theoretical basis,this paper reveals the economic significance of the development of city-industry-people integration from a theoretical point of view by establishing the interaction theoretical model of "industry","city" and "people".And this paper describes the development process of urbanization in southern Jiangsu since the reform and opening up,which highlights the leading role of urbanization in this area and illustrates the practical value of taking this area as a pilot area of new development ideas.This paper further uses the evaluation index system to measure and evaluate the integration degree of the five cities of southern Jiangsu.The results show that the city-industry-people integration level of the five cities of southern Jiangsu has an increasing trend,but there is a certain gap between cities.In recent years,the integration level of Suzhou is the highest,followed by Nanjing and Wuxi.The integration level of Changzhou is relatively low,while Zhenjiang is the lowest.On the basis of this result,this paper constructs econometric model and uses historical experience data to verify that the city-industry-people integration can promote high-quality urbanization in southern Jiangsu.Based on the conclusions of the study,the main suggestions for promoting high.quality urbanization in southern Jiangsu include improving the quality of products and services,expanding domestic demand for urban consumption,fully releasing market forces,giving play to the role of government cooperation,rationally implementing land finance,respecting the natural development of urbanization,improving the level of opening-up,highlighting the characteristics of industrial clusters,paying attention to making up the shortcomings of the system and promoting the coordinated development of cities in southern Jiangsu.
