A Research On Public Cultural Services In The Progress Of The Henan Urban-Rural Integration

People’s life become better and better because the fast development of themodern society, at the same time, the contradiction between the current citizens’demand for culture construction and public culture service can not meet the needs hasbecome one of the important problems in building a harmonious socialist society.According to this, the public providing cultural service to the citizens should to be thetheme of urban-rural integration. The public culture service can promote the socialpositive energy, enhance the social sense of honor or disgrace, and the quality of lifeand happiness index of urban and rural citizens, promote the level of urban-ruralintegration.This paper is written by administering the questionnaire to the citizens in thesampling eight cities in Henan province, collecting survey data, to learn about thesupply situation about the local public culture service. The public culture servicesenrich people’s amateur cultural life, but there is a big gap between the urban andrural, between the supply and demand, a phenomenon about the public culture servicehollowing becomes, and so on. This comes from not enough propaganda from publicgovernment, not enough attention from people, limited consumption capacity onculture action, the deficiency on the administration, assessment and security. Itrestricts the speed of urban-rural integration. So, we should take some innovation,such as introduce market mechanism to enrich the providers, improve the income toactive market, improve the administration, assessment, and improve the level ofurban-rural integration.
