In the books writen by Lao She, Qiong Yao, Wang Shuo and other cross-strait contemporary writers, in the words said by Bai Yansong, Wang Xiaoya, Guo Degang and other popular TV presenter from CCTV and local, even in the mainstream newspapers such as "People’s Daily", and the hit TV works such as "the Story of Editorial Department", "Qiao Family Courtyard", we can see or hear such a language component- "jiu jie le". However, such an important language component, there has not currently been any kind of specialized research on it, and relevant research information is also very scarce. Starting point of this article is to fill the gaps in this aspect to some extent, and puts forward the type of structure "jiu × le" according to this research.Firstly, because the attribute issue of "jiu jie le" has not been conclusive, and the definition of discourse markers is also lack of uniform standards. In order to strive for rigorous, the author bases on the main characteristics of discourse markers summarized by Liu Liyan and Fang Mei, and learns from the views of many scholars in this field, taking it as the criterion for the definition of discourse markers, to determine that "jiu jie le" is a discourse marker.Secondly, the author collects 414 corpus in the corpora, makes the practical exploration in many regions such as Beijing, asks about 126 people at least across the country, then launches a comprehensive investigation to "jiu jie le" on this basis, and draws a conclusion: "jiu jie le" originated in the Qing Dynasty nineteen years of Qianlong(1754) to five years Guangxu(1879) in the Beijing area. Currently it is applied in some areas of Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang and Taiwan, which is North and Northeast Dialect of the four sub-dialects of the Northern Dialect. Besides, the evolutionary process can be summarized as follows: verb "jie" was influenced by the general trend of language environment, linearing combined as "jie le", "jiu jie le"; verb "jie" changed to semantic virtual, "jiu jie le" gradually consolidated into a word in the abstract meaning; with further weakening and shedding of the semantic meaning of "jiu jie le", it had become the language component with the grammatical function and the modal meaning.Thirdly, After a detailed analysis of the distribution and structure of "jiu jie le", the author finds that a sentence in a conversational turn-taking or a non conversational context, which is regularly distributed in the front part, middle part and back part of the segment. According to its available language unit, it roughly divided into three kinds of situations: connected complete sentence, connected elliptical sentences, connected pronoun; and according to its common fixed collocation, it can be divided into two categories: match adverb "bu", "ye" and match modal particles "ma", "me".Finally, the author gives a thoroughly research on the discourse function of "jiu jie le", to consider that there are three basic functions of discourse marker "jiu jie le" : textual organization function, interpersonal interaction function and meta pragmatic function. Among them, textual organization function can be subdivided into coherence function, transformation function and prompt function. Interpersonal interaction function can be subdivided into emphasize topic, delayed topic, switch to another topic and end topic. Meta pragmatic function can be subdivided into reflect subjective, generate guidance and control.
