A Multi-angle Study On Speculative Discourse Markers Of "Bao Buzhu"

"Baobuzhu(保不住)","Baobuzhun(保不准)","Baobuqi(保不齐)"and"Beibuzhu(备不住)"are a set of three-syllable words commonly used in daily conversations."And"Baobuzhu(保不住)","Baobuzhun(保不准)","Baobuqi(保不齐)"and"Beibuzhu(备不住)"fall into one category and are called"Baobuzhu(保不住)"words.Through the analysis and summary of a large number of corpora,it reveals the formation process,cause and function of discourse markers"Baobuzhu(保不住)"words.This article is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.The introduction mainly explains the research object and the significance of the topic,the current status of domestic and foreign research and the research results,and clarifies the theory,method,main content and so on.The second chapter is the definition of speculative discourse markers.It mainly examines the criteria for judging discourse markers in Chinese.It defines the scope of"speculation"and the use of"speculation"tone."Baobuzhu(保不住)"words have the function of discourse markers.The third chapter mainly examines the semantic features,syntactic distribution and discourse functions of speculative discourse markers of"Baobuzhu(保不住)".From the semantic point of view,it has the semantic features of[+possible],[+detective],[-determined],and[±conclusive truth];from the position distribution point of view,the position distribution of"Baobuzhu(保不住)"speculative discourse markers is flexible;from the point of view of syntactic characteristics,The"Baobuzhu(保不住)"speculative discourse marker has its own co-occurrence component;from the perspective of discourse function,it has the function of discourse cohesion and the topic change or end function;from the perspective of pragmatic features,it has two major subjective and communicative features.The fourth and fifth chapters examine the formation process of discoursemarkers such as"Baobuzhu(保不住)","Baobuzhun(保不准)","Baobuqi(保不齐)",and"Beibuzhu(备不住)",and analyze the mechanism and motivation of the words"Baobuzhu(保不住)"becoming discourse markers.The last chapter is the conclusion,which sorts out the conclusions drawn in this article,summarizes the main points of this article,and puts forward the deficiencies.
