A Report On Interpreting Economic Issues Interview Of PBS News Hour

This article is an interpretation practice report with the selected material from the U.S. PBS News Hour interview on economic topics. As the material contains various types of the American economic issues, making consecutive interpretation practice to discuss the general features and interpreting approach of economic interviews has a certain pioneering and reference value.The report is divided into four parts. The first part is the task description about introducing the interpretation materials, analyzing tasks and proposing the objectives and significance of the report. The second part is the process description which mainly contains the preparation for the interpretation, learning the triangular pattern of the interpretive theory, analyzing the difficulties in interpreting interviews on economic issues, and post-presentation by finishing the practice. The third part is case study with the examples and explanation of the words, sentences and chapters interpretation skills. Section four summarizes the lessons learned from this interpretation practice.Hope this interpretation practice analysis can guide the author’s interpretation work and practice.
