Conditional complex sentence has been acting as an important role in the grammar teaching system of teaching Chinese as a second language and is also one of the grammars where foreign students make errors. Based on corpus of HSK composition test and questionnaires from South Korean students who have got through HSK5, this dissertation will do some research on the order of outputting of conditional complex sentence. The whole essay will be divided into four parts.This essay is consisted of five chapters. Chapter one is the preface, introducing aims, history, objections, basic theories and research methods.Following this part, we define the conditional complex sentence and analyze it from two points of view:logic and structure. After all, we regard eight sentence structures as the scope of our research.Then, based on the results of questionnaires and collected corpus from HSK compositions, we will draw a conclusion on the order of conditional complex sentence and figure out factors resulting in this phenomenon. At first, we will get the order of these eight kinds of sentences patterns by adopting " correct use of relative frequency method". Secondly, we will give out questionnaires to South Korean students with HSK 5 in Wuhan and analyze the quality and results of these questionnaires. At the same time, we will get the outputting of these sentences patterns by the previous method. Finally, four factors will be analyzed to explain the sequence. These factors are the degree of cognition about these sentences patterns, the frequency and quantity of target languages, the frequency and scope of the Chinese by native speakers and the influence of language teaching methods.Above the results of this research, some teaching advice will be given from three points. From the point of edition of teaching texts, the order of these eight sentences patterns can be adjusted and we can accelerate and display the reproduction of them. The aims of teaching will be classified and designed in details from three aspects of doing research on language structures. In the view of teaching method, we advocate using two methods:comparative analysis approach and situational approach.Finally, epilogue is coming, summarizing the whole essay and showing the drawbacks of this dissertation.
