A Study Of Acquisition Of Conditional Complex Sentence In Chinese By Korean Students

The conditional complex sentence is a very important kind of Chinese complex clauses; comprehension and use are two aspects of the same importance in the second language acquisition. In order to understand the situation of acquisition of conditional complex sentence in Chinese by Korean students, and reveal the process and features of their acquisition, this thesis investigates the use of conditional complex sentences by the Korean students by conducting a survey. Through statistical analysis of the daily writing exercises as well as the corpus, this thesis analyses the present situation of using conditional complex sentence by Korean students at different levels. The result reveals that being able or unable to comprehend is affected by logical relationship,conjunctions,and their first language . We sort out the kinds of errors and put forward the distribution of errors. We then analyze the fetures and the causes of the errors.At the last part we suggest the teaching methods especially on the Chinese complex sentence teaching according to the situation of the comprehension and error, hoping that they are helpful for the Chinese teaching as Second Language.
