Research On The History And Ideology Of CCTV Documentary Of The Anti-Japanese War

2015 is the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people’s Anti-Japanese War (the World Anti-Fascist War). So in the memorable great moment, CCTV created a number of outstanding anti-war documentaries to promote the spirit which makes patriotism as a core vigorously, such as the Oriental main battlefield, Declaration, mainstay and so on, in the other hand, it also fostered Chinese people remember the history and cherish the peace. Absolutely they have caused a strong reaction for the promotion of the awakening and unity of the Chinese nation, re-established the status of China’s world power, and opened the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, all these got an important significance.In this thesis, the author will take the CCTV documentary of the Anti-Japanese War as the main research objection.In the first chapter, the author point out the research’s background、significance、 contents、methods、innovation and deficiencies. Meanwhile the research summary about the documentary film of the war of Anti-Japanese War and the production of CCTV documentary will be listed (including CCTV documentary works, CCTV documentary program, CCTV Documentary Channel, CCTV documentary industry).In the second chapter, it make a better understanding on the development history of the Anti-Japanese War documentary and the background, analyzed the situation of CCTV documentary about the Anti-Japanese War, and concluded the distinct characteristics of CCTV documentary of the war in recent years.In the third chapter, it proposed the influences of New Historicism of CCTV documentary of the war, and explained two questions:the relationship between historical reality and the representation of reality, another one is how to realize narrative about the construction of history through the media.In addition, because the author have the honor to took an internship in CCTV in August 2015, and the fifth chapter will also take the documentary Oriental main battlefield which I have participated as a case, combined with the contents above analyzed in detail, explained the theme of the Oriental main battlefield, historical narration and the main expression of flow values.In the last chapter, it will discuss the phenomenon of " alienation " about the War documentary transfer to story film gradually, make a criticism to CCTV Anti-Japanese War documentary with " true reproduction " improper; otherwise, according to the author’s first-hand data of War documentary, the author also proposed the suggestions of the future War documentary’s survival under the network environment.
